Then, turn them back on. This will refresh the Internet connection, and, hopefully, fix the issue for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your problem still exists after rebooting your devices, read on and try the fix below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fix-4-check-for-corrupted-system-files\">Fix 4: Check for corrupted system files<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Missing, corrupt or damaged system files can interfere with your internet connection. To see if this is the core issue for you, you can run a system scan to detect broken or damaged system files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>System File Checker<\/strong> is a Windows built-in tool that can help you scan for and repair any corruptions of your system files. You can continue to use the PC as you normally would.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you&#8217;re seeing the following messages, it means something is wrong with your system. You can  run the scan again in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drivereasy.com\/knowledge\/how-to-enter-safe-mode-in-windows-10-7-8-8-1-xp-vista\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\">safe mode<\/a>, or follow this <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/topic\/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e#bkmk_cbs_log\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Microsoft guide<\/a> to repair corrupted files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"d\">Fix 5: Update your network adapter driver<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Network problems might occur when you&#8217;re using the wrong or outdated network adapter driver. To prevent network issues, it&#8217;s essential that you have the latest correct driver at all times. Here is how to update your network adapter driver:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"#d1\">Option 1 \u2013 Manually<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 You\u2019ll need some computer skills and patience to reinstall your driver this way, because you need to find exactly the right the driver online, download it and install it step by step.<br \/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"#d2\">Option 2 \u2013 Automatically (Recommended)<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 This is the quickest and easiest option. It\u2019s all done with just a couple of mouse clicks \u2013 easy even if you\u2019re a computer newbie. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"d1\"><strong>Option 1 \u2013 Download and install the driver manually<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The manufacturer of your network adapter keeps updating the driver for your device.
